Brush Number 1- It works well if you want to hightlight your cheek bones with a light shimmery highlighter. It works pretty well.
Brush Number 2- If you want a lip brush this one works okay. I would recommend getting it if you like to apply a lipgloss or lip pigment to you lips. Otherwise I wouldn't get it. Personally I just use the applicators that come with my lip gloss.
