How do you convert a video codec to run properly in Final Cut Pro?
I imported some HD footage from a Cannon EOS 7D onto a PC. I didn't use any program to copy the footage, I just drag and dropped it onto my hard drive. Then when I hooked my hard drive up to my Mac to edit in Final Cut Pro, the footage was extremely laggy. I am sure that the problem is the video codec, but how do I change the codec to allow Final Cut Pro to run the video smoothly?
