2 Marketing Tips For Getting More Sales For Free

Marketing is a topic that alot of business owners aren't fond of. The truth of the matter is that, marketing can be tough - especially if you don't know what you're doing. When I first got started out in my offline business, I was sure that I was going to get tons and tons of customers right away. Needless to say... I was wrong.

I had poured so much money into mailing out to 3,000 people, that I almost loss my shirt in the process. My reasons for failing was simple. I didn't pick a good list to mail to, and the product that I was offering wasn't exactly in-tuned to the marketplace. What about your offer. Are you offering products and services that will make people want to do business with you? If not, then I suggest you change the way that you market and advertise your products.

I want to share with you some simple techniques that you can use to get more customers in the door. These strategies will come in hand once you have the perfect offer created, and all that's left to do is market your business. Here's one great tip for marketing your products and services:

1) Offer a "deluxe" package

You essentially will want to have 2 options that your prospect can take advantage of. The first option is your product, but then the second option is your deluxe package. Your deluxe package should contain a very valuable piece of information that your prospects will really want, and is something that they can't do without.

For example, I know of a guy who was selling cold calling information for a set price. But then in his deluxe package, he included the actual ads, scripts, and mailing pieces that would allow a business owner to copy and clone right away. His initial offer for the cold calling information was $49. But then his deluxe package was priced at $99. He made alot of money on this campaign, and you can do the same also in your business.

Here's another marketing strategy that you can implement in your business:

2) Have client-only seminars

This is a great way to get referrals from your existing customers and clients. What you will want to do is hold a 30 minute seminar demonstrating your expertise, and at the end of the seminar, hand out your business card to everyone there. At the seminar, you've already demonstrated your expertise, so it will be less of a hurdle to get new customers to do business with you.

I wouldn't mind the cost of a seminar, especially if the lifetime customer value is anything near the $500 to $1,000 price range. The key with having success with this idea is to be creative. If you can gain 1 new customer or client from this seminar, you'll more than likely recoup your cost of the seminar in a short period of time.

Both of these tips will help you to have the marketing advantage that you need in your business.
