do tattoo shop charge you to just draw a tattoo for you?
oh yeah by the way i am talking about a small tattoo not some full back peace or anything lol
i am sure it depends on the shop but i was just wandering because me and my mom want to get memorial tattoo's for my grandma and grandpa (her mom and dad) but i will not be 18 til december so we were wandering if they would charge us to have them draw out some idea's for us you know so that we can have a better picture in our heads
Well, every time I tell people the truth about this, they give me a few thumbs down, but never the less, it's true. That's custom work, we draw it up and slap it on, if it's what you want. But time is still money. We charge from the time we start working on the piece, till it's on you. That means from when we picked up the pencil or skinscribe. But if it's a small piece, like you said, usually it will reflect very little in the total cost. And, of course, we're held to how the owner wants things done. Some shop owners will give you more free reign than others.
