Is the New Ghost Recon going to keep the realism that the Franchise always had?
Well I watched the new Ghost Recon Future Soldier and I'm not sure if its showing what we have got that will be used in the future or if its just selling into the pop garbage like COD, which of course is unrealistic. What do you guys think? Is the game going to keep its realism or become another brand that people will buy but doesn't follow what it used to be, a fun game that research was put into?
According to the game designers etc, yes it will. All the tech shown in the game are things we A) already have or B) on prototype stage.
If you look up Metamaterials, its the "stuff" being used to create the camo-suits.
If you look up HULC, its the exoskeleton being used in the game that is almost finished testing in real life.
New ground drones are being proposed so those featured in the game are very possible.
So to add, yes the equipment being featured in the game is added due to extensive research, "sniffing around" if you may say, around different gov. and military organizations wanting to lend a hand in the game's futuristic yet realistic nature.
