Smoke from engine after transmission service?
I had a full transmission service (kit and flush) done a few days ago on my automatic 3.4 V6 95 camaro and ever since i have smelled a slight burning smell while driving and also some barely visible white smoke. I looked under the hood and couldn't seem to spot the source, nor could i find any leaks. What could this be?
possible tranny fluid being forced under pressure is spraying out somewhere, it may be hitting the exhaust pipe or manifold (my guess is one of the lines may not be tightened correctly after they flushed the tranny, so go back, tell them you saw a whitish cloud (that's what tranny fluid looks like when sprayed under high pressure, this may just be something simple, so go and have the shop check the lines they loosened underneath the car, or check them yourself.
