I need a software for my touchscreen monitor!?

Hello everyone!
I'll get straight to the point.. I needed a monitor for my pc and my friend had one and gave it to me.. he doesn't even remember why he has it or how he got it. The monitor works perfectly, and touching it i noticed it's touchscreen.. the cursor moves when i touch the screen but it goes in weird directions, double clicks for no reason..it just doesn't respond properly!
The maker is italian and it is so small they don't even have a website.. I was wondering if there's any free software/driver that will allow me to run the touch mode as it should
